Local News following patrols

During patrols on Monday afternoon officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team responded to a report of a vehicle being parked on the white line system in Wensley which resulted in a ticket being placed on the vehicle.

The vehicle had parked near a sign advising them of the offence by parking at the location. Sadly, even with these signs in place motorists still commit offences putting themselves and other road users at risk.

During further patrols in the late evening of Monday prior going into a community meeting, officers attended a report of illegal fishing in the Froggatt and Calver area, where 3 males had their fishing rods seized and reported for the offences.
